Kettle Valley Convenience Store
A new store opened its doors on May 1, 2018 and is occupying the space previously left vacant by the Kettle Valley Market, which closed on Christmas Eve 2017.

Knowing that their store is tucked away and out of sight to passing traffic they hope that you will remember this article and keep them in mind for your last-minute needs.

Kelowna residents Jasot Pandher and his wife Pawan will be bringing several years of experience managing gas station convenience stores in the area to the new store. Jasot will be the young man greeting you most times but Pawan will be stepping in occasionally to help out. You may also meet this young couple’s pair of five-year-old children (twins: a boy and a girl ) from time to time when they're not attending kindergarten.

This is an exciting new experience for this young couple and they are looking forward to meeting the residents of Kettle Valley, a neighbourhood that they’ve heard so many good things about.

“Our product line will grow and be modified over time,” says Jasot, “but we will initially be providing Kettle Valley residents with a convenient line of competitively priced grocery items such as dairy products, sandwiches and bakery items.” And they promise not to be judgmental when you buy any of their fine selection of candies, cigarettes and slurpies.

With more product on the way, they will be looking for input from their customers regarding items they would like to see on their shelves.

Opening hours (will be similar to the coffee shop)
Weekdays from 7am to 9pm
Fridays and Saturdays: 7am to 10pm
Sundays: 9am to 9pm

The store’s contact number is  (250) 899-8517.

Lesage Cosmetic Tattoo

My name is Susan Lesage, owner of Lesage Cosmetic Tattoo. I have lived in the Upper Mission with my husband & three sons for the past six & a half years. I feel so fortunate to have discovered a space in Kettle Valley, as I see it as a perfect location to grow my business. Proximity to wineries, hiking trails, beach access, local restaurants & in this coveted neighbourhood make this a destination boutique studio.

What drew me to the location was proximity to my children’s school & our home, but most especially the opportunity to provide a charming location to my clients, with the convenience of free, accessible parking & beautiful vistas that surround.

My vision for the space was to create a boutique spa atmosphere where people can come not only to get beautiful brows, but to feel pampered, and surrounded by beautiful jewelry, healing crystals and an upcoming plant-based seaweed skin care line.

I believe strongly in supporting local businesses, artists, and entrepreneurs. As such, the jewellery and artwork come from amazing women in the community that I have been privileged to connect with and whose pieces I am proud to showcase.

My interest in microblading, or cosmetic tattoo, began several years ago. I traveled to Calgary to have my own brows microbladed by an amazing cosmetic artist that I had discovered. I was thrilled to witness firsthand, the transformative experience of the art of microblading.

My background in Fine Arts and interest in cosmetics, and skincare led to me to pursue my own dream of becoming a microblade artist, and of having the privilege and joy of helping others attain beautiful natural looking brows.

Lindy’s Lash and Beauty Bar

Lindy's-Lashes.jpg

Hi, I’m Lindy Gunderson! Growing up I’ve always been obsessed with fashion, beauty, hair, make-up, and everything girly. I am currently opening up my own little beauty boutique, called Lindy’s Lash and Beauty Bar.

When it came to school I loved the social aspect of school, however, school was never my favorite place when it came to learning. I am dyslexic and I struggled with every reading and writing assignment. I was often frustrated and discouraged at school. However, I never used my dyslexia as a crutch and I always persevered.  Being dyslexic gives me an advantage as I learned the value of hard work and the ability to attack problems and solve them creatively.

Lindy's studio is on the ground floor between Kettle Valley Family Dental and the Convenience Store.

I am a hard worker, I am a doer, I set goals, and I can see the big picture and the place I want to get to. I’ve learned so much about business and myself this past year and after working successfully in Sherwood Park, Alberta, I decided to move to Kettle Valley in September 2017.

There are so many beautiful women in Kettle Valley who love looking good.  I have found a great location to help people with that passion.
